GEO International Student Arrival Information Form

ATTENDANCE AT ORIENTATION IS MANDATORY. A calendar with dates and information is available on our website. You may also wish to review our recommended options for travel to Plattsburgh.

To guarantee pickup at a regional airport or at the local train or bus station, you must fill out this form and send your itinerary to GEO as soon as you have made your travel arrangements. If your travel plans change after you have submitted this form, please complete and submit a new one.

IMPORTANT: GEO can only provide pickup from locations in Plattsburgh and Burlington International Airport (BTV) between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM on the arrival days. If you need us to pick you up, please arrive during these times!

If you arrive in the Plattsburgh area between 6:00 pm and 8:00 am, you must take a taxi or another ride service (for example, Uber or Lyft) to campus. The cost for ground transportation to campus from Plattsburgh International Airport (PBG), the Plattsburgh Amtrak train station, or the Plattsburgh bus station is approximately $20 USD. There is free WiFi service in the airport.

DO NOT ARRIVE IN PLATTSBURGH BY BUS FROM NY CITY BETWEEN 10:00 PM AND 6:00 AM. There is no taxi or other ride service available from the bus station to campus at that time of night/morning, and the convenience store where the bus stop is located is closed from 12:00 am to 5:00 am.
