Radiance Fellowship Proposal Form

Please complete this form if you are a SUNY Plattsburgh office requesting consideration of hosting a Radiance Fellowship position for 2027-28.

SUNY Plattsburgh’s Radiance Fellowship Program allows eligible graduate students to work part-time in a position related to their academic and/or professional goals while enrolled in a master’s or graduate certificate program at SUNY Plattsburgh. The Radiance Fellowship affords housing discounts and stipends in exchange for an on-campus work obligation.

Your proposal must include a Tier selection. Radiance Fellows can work either 20 hours per week (Tier 1) or 10 hours per week (Tier 2) during the fall and spring semesters.

Tier 1 fellows:
- Work 20 hours per week, at $16 per hour (paid by department funds). Stipend is approx.$10,240 for fall and spring semesters combined.
- Live in 'double as single' room on campus and receive full waiver of associated cost
Tier 2 fellows:
- Work 10 hours per week, at $16 per hour (paid by department funds). Stipend is approx. $5.120 for fall and spring semesters combined.
- Live in 'double as single room' on campus and receive 50% waiver of associated cost
