I've Been Admitted to College (IBAC): Request Form

We want to provide students with many opportunities to start seeing college in their futures. The college requires that chaperones:

• At least one chaperone from each school should remain with their student group at all times.
• We ask all guests to follow campus expectations and represent their school in a positive way throughout the day.
• Please be attentive and respectful to all speakers, presenters, and fellow participants during the event.
• Chaperones are expected to actively monitor student behavior and address any concerns promptly. Your support helps ensure a safe, respectful, and productive experience for everyone.
• Chaperones should help monitor phone usage and assist with restroom breaks. Our staff and student volunteers will not be escorting students to and from restrooms.
• We ask chaperones to help enforce campus expectations and rules. Please remember that campus staff are accustomed to working with college students and may not be as familiar with the needs and supervision expectations of younger students.
• If you feel students are not fully understanding the information being shared, please feel free to ask appropriate questions of tour guides, presenters, or speakers to help clarify key points and encourage engagement.
• We also appreciate your help with transitions between activities so we can stay on schedule and make the most of our time together.
• All groups are expected to adhere to the event schedule. To keep the program running smoothly and on time, groups must attend their assigned dining location and activities; stops at alternative dining halls or other unscheduled locations will not be permitted.
• All groups are expected to remain for the full duration of the event.
